Building New Alliances and Strengthening Community Support in April 2024

April 2024 has been a transformative month for Lux Sanctum Inferni (LSI) as we continue our journey of making a meaningful impact within our local community. We’re excited to share some of the powerful alliances we’ve formed and the ways we’ve deepened our efforts to promote harm reduction and community well-being.

One of our most impactful collaborations this month was with Confluence HRKC, where we came together to assemble harm reduction kits for individuals in need. This ongoing initiative ensures our community has access to essential resources like safe sex kits, Narcan, fentanyl testing strips, and more. It was a productive and inspiring gathering, reminding us all of the strength that comes from collective action.

At LSI, we’re committed to distributing these kits every month, and with the continued support of our partners, we’re excited to expand our reach. Every kit delivered is a step toward creating a safer, healthier community for all.

April also saw our involvement in the Great Kansas City Cleanup, where we rolled up our sleeves and contributed to the beautification of our local environment. 🌍 It was a wonderful opportunity to give back and promote environmental stewardship within our community.

As part of our ongoing fundraising efforts, we took part in the Spring Craft Fair, where we showcased crafts made by our members while connecting with fellow locals and supporting the efforts of other organizations we believe in. It’s always refreshing to meet new people and build those essential relationships that strengthen our network.

Looking ahead, we remain excited about what’s to come as we continue to grow our impact and deepen our relationships with those who share our vision for a better, more inclusive world. Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far—we couldn’t do it without you.
