🌈 LSI INC at the LGBTQ+ Town Hall – April 5, 2025

This past Saturday, LSI INC (Lux Sanctum Inferni) was honored to be part of the LGBTQ+ Town Hall hosted at Our Spot KC, in collaboration with Metro Junction Townhall. The event was a beautiful celebration of community, visibility, and collective empowerment—and we were grateful to share space with so many passionate, vibrant souls.

We hosted an information table where we offered a variety of essential harm reduction and support materials, including:

• Safer sex kits provided by our wonderful partners at KC Care

• Narcan and naloxone for overdose reversal

• Fentanyl testing strips

• Plan B emergency contraception

• Handmade jewelry (necklaces and earrings) lovingly crafted by Mary Thibodeau

• A selection of stickers and other small magical treasures

  
  

It was beautiful to witness attendees engaging with our resources, sharing their stories, and connecting with us over shared values of autonomy, care, and radical love.

The event was filled with powerful performances by the talented:

And it opened with a stunning blessing from the City of Fountain Sisters, setting a sacred and inclusive tone for the day.

We also had the pleasure of hearing impactful words from Missouri State Representative Wick Thomas and other speakers who offered vital insights and affirmations about queer rights, local legislation, and how we can all move forward with solidarity and strength.

A huge thank you to Our Spot KC and Metro Junction Townhall for organizing such an intentional, loving space. We met so many delightful people and are genuinely looking forward to being involved in future town hall meetings and continuing to show up for our queer, trans, disabled, and neurodivergent communities.
